The director Mario Monicelli was killed yesterday at the age of 95 years. He was admitted to hospital in Rome "San Giovanni" for some time, for a tumor in the terminal phase. From
1935 to 2006, Mario Monicelli was director of 64 films and author of more than 80 screenplays, among them are "The infidels," "The Great War", "My friends" and "Desert Roses".
