Citizens, after the shameful betrayal the government and the majority who have withdrawn to the House an amendment to the Decree on the special security and police forces Fire Department, thus putting at risk the operational efficiency of law and order and public safety from 1 January 2011.

The signatory trade union organizations of the State Police, Prison Police, the State Forestry Corps and National Fire Service, have called for today, December 9, 2010, joint demonstrations of workers in all provinces of Italy, and a national demonstration in Rome, in Piazza Montecitorio, December 13 pv to

• prevent the dismantling of public safety and emergency public against financial policies of the only cuts that have already stolen, the Police Force, about 2 and a half billion euro in three years;

• prevent the operation of the financial year to further restrict
